This one time at band camp....

Okay so I was just kinda being a creep and reading you're old blogs and it made me realize how much I miss you and that no matter what I am calling you tomorrow until you answer you're phone. Yes i know it is the first day of classes...but suck it up I miss yo face.
Oh and I get to see Jenny on Saturday which is super exciting but may make me realize how much I miss all of you which will make me cry.
So Youth Camp was absolutely amazing! God is so good and I learned so much and the kids are just so awesome and so in love with Jesus it just makes me want to cry and fall down and praise Him a lot that these kids just have such a huge foundation in Him at such a young age it is fantastic! I will blog about this more when I put up pics.
I love you
Farewell :)

How does He do that...Oh right He's God

So I love that God knows exactly what we need to hear and when we need to hear it. It's like He is God of our lives or something like that ;)
But anyways another thing I have been stressing about(yes I allow myself to get stressed to much I know) was the budget Andy and I have been trying to make and I keep freaking out because I am not sure where all this money that we need is going to come from and how we are going to make it when we will only have like .10 cents in our account after the bills and blah blah blah. But then as I was in the Word this morning God kinda slapped me out of it haha. So I was reading Luke and stumbled upon this beautifulness:
"And He said to His disciples, 'For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body as to what you will put on. For life is more than food and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much valuable you are then the birds! And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life span? If you then cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about the other matters? Consider the Lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You of little faith! And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. For all these things nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows you need these things. But seek His Kingdom and these things will be added to you. Do not be afraid little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom."
      Luke 12:22-32
This is one of those things that I always knew and knew it was in the Bible but it's just so cool when God just reminds you He is in control and reminds me that no matter what He is still God and I cannot be Him.

the long awaited reuinion

So I haven't blogged in what seems like forever. It's one of those things that every night that I lye tossing and turning in my bed, sleepless because my head is overflowing with things, I think "hmmm...maybe I should blog" then I think well I will probably start blogging, get way to tired, and then not want to finish. However tonight I made a stand against my conscience and I did it anyway. And although I know I will some to regret this in the morning it feels almost liberating. I have not been sleeping lately. No matter what I do I can't sleep. It's like when ever I lay my head down, my brain kicks into overdrive and every little thing that could possibly stress me out comes into my brain and keeps me awake until my body is so sleep deprived I fall asleep for a few non-restful hours of sleep and start my day again. I just don't know why, I have been stressing about school because it's expensive and I really don't want a ton of debt hanging over my head and I don't even have any clue what I want to do with my life other than stay home with my kids but everyone keeps telling me I need to go to school just in case anything ever happens to Andy and I understand this but I have no clue what I want to do to spend that much money on! AHH! And then also there is the wedding and my parents keep stressing out about cost and I can not for the life of me, no matter how many times I try and tell them this, get it through their thick skulls that I don't care what we do for a reception. I could care less if we had string cheese and pop-tarts, all I want is to be married to the man God has given to me that I love very much. But their like oh but it's the thank you to people who come and give you gifts and I get that but what that day is really about is God bringing two people together. again AHH! I feel like if I made a point to do this everyday, just empty my thoughts, they wouldn't get so pent up and I would maybe be able to get some sleep again, or idk.
On a more positive note! Youth Camp is just about 1 week away and I could not be more excited to just hang out with these kids that are so in love with Jesus and it is just going to be fantastic. I never knew that kids that I haven't known all that long could mean so much to be. It has really helped me think about how my walk with Jesus is and continue to grow knowing that I was put in a position to lead these kids and they like look up to me and talk to me about their problems and trust me and ask me to pray for them. It is just fantastic. And God is so cool and I really wish that these are the things my mind would let me focus on at night and sleep peacefully rather than taking the very silly unimportant things and making my mind restless.
Also my house currently smells like burnt popcorn. This would be because around approximately 4pm I decided I was in the mood for some Homestyle Popsecret popcorn. So I grabbed a bag, placed it in the microwave, hit the "popcorn" button on the microwave, and headed outside to grab the laundry off the laundry line. As Andy walked into the house I looked into the window and saw him go to the fridge, then the microwave area, then go back outside. Assuming he was going to the garage to sit and talk with Dad and Jim (as he does on so many afternoons) I thought nothing of it and continued getting my laundry. A few seconds later Andy comes over to the clothes line and says "Did you make popcorn" I replied "Yeah why?" He then proceeded to tell me about how when he came up the stair he smelled an awful smell and realized the bag of popcorn was nearly on fire. There was a charred unrecognizable block inside the popcorn bag. Apparently you cannot leave popcorn in the microwave unattended...who knew? Then a few hours later I put corn on the stove and went outside to join the family on the deck. My dad went in and out of the house about 4 time so I assumed he had been going back and forth and checking the corn...well he hadn't been and that burned too. So just as the burned popcorn smell was going away the corn burned and re-stank the entire house. So currently my house smells like an odd mixture of burnt popcorn, French Vanilla, Christmas Cookie, and Cinnamon.
So now that I feel as though I have written an entire novel I am going to try and get some much needed sleep before my meeting at work tomorrow.
Night Night.

Rollercoasters make me sick!

Okay so there are only 7 more months until the wedding so we are starting to actually plan things and go to meetings and all that crazy stuff! However as wonderful as it is to be drawing nearer and nearer to that day, I feel as though I am still being pulled into a million different directions. I love that I have so many people (my mom, my step-mom, my dad, andys mom and dad) that all want to help and give me their input but when did it become The Sue-Amy-Mark-Lynne-Mike wedding and not the Heather and Andrew one....?? AH! And like everytime I make a tiny tiny step in wedding planning progress my mom freaks out and calls me all upset, and it's like seriously can I not do anything with out making everyone angry at me. I cannot wait until our Wedding Day because that will mean all the planing is over. Okay now that I am done with my little vent I can update you on some stuff that have been able to accomplish.

#1 we picked flowers-http://blog.emilieduncan.net/flowers-101-ranunculus/
-They are super pretty, in season, and they are decently priced...not sure if I am going to do just bouquets of them or if I am going to put some little flower in there too. What do you think dear MOH?

#2 I know there is more than just that but I cannot for the life of me think of it. haha

Anyways my step-mom also asked me if I could give her your number, I think so you guys can collaberate as far as the bridal shower even though your all the way in Virginia she still wants to bounce ideas off you and stuff.I just can't wait, and I can't wait to see everyone when they come up for the wedding. I miss you.

And I remembered #2 we picked a honeymoon spot :)  http://www.vrbo.com/46966

we just have to wait to hear back from them because to tell us a price for a week during the "off season"

You look pretty when you read my blog.
Love you!

Apparently I can't do anything right.

So I went to pick up my wedding dress today...which should have been the most exciting day of my life. Which is was...until my mom called. And in case you did not know my mom lives in Cortland. And she isn't really a huge part of my life because well..she has a very serious mental illness and is just within the past year been starting to actually get help for it, however it has been very hard for me to re-build that relationship becuase I'm a grown up and she still acts like I'm 5, she is still very manipulative, and I never know whether I can trust her or not! Fun parent to grow up with :/ So anyways....My mom was out a couple months ago and we went and I treid on like 5 or 6 dresses and then me and Andy's mom went and we tried on dresses and then I went with Hannah somewhere else but I haven't gone or done anything with Amy (Who is the one paying for the entire wedding unless my mom actually gives some money but that is highly unlikely). So I decided "Self thats not really fair that you haven't included Amy, be a nice person and invite her to pick up the dress with you" So I did. And we had a fantastic day! We went and I got the dress and tried it on, we looked at some veils and stuff and then left. We were seriously maybe at David's for maybe 30-45min then we went to the mall and got some dinner. Well meanwhile my mom went on facebook saw I was picking up my dress and decided that I was the worst child on  the planet for not telling her. Mind you she lives 4-5 hours away from where we were getting the dress. So she calls me and just cries and cries and cries on the phone about how I should have included her and She is my mom not Amy(also let me explain that my mom never went to my or my brothers graduations, I haven't lived with her for about 3 year she was in recovery when I went to college and she hasn't really been a active part in my life so it wouldn't exactly make sense her coming but I still try very hard to include her) Even though Amy for the past 7 years has been a very big part o my life and hasn't been a part of the wedding dress yet. So anyways she cried on the phone for about an hour and now I just feel like an awful person and no matter what I do or who I include or disclude(becuase we all know it is impossible to include everyone) someone will get mad. It's never enough. Like last mothers day, I planned this very nice dinner I was going to go over make her dinner rent a movie I bought her some nice bath and body works stuff, but it was going to be the day after mothers day becuase I did not have a car yet and Andy and I wanted to see his mom too. Well my mom was apparentyl appaulled that we were doing something the day after and not the day of and she called and cried her eyes out on the phone, finally said she was over it and a few minutes later my Aunt called screaming at me telling me I was a terrible child, when all I was trying to do was plan so I could have a good amount of time with everyone. No matter how much I do it is never enough for anyone and it's so frustrating.
Okay I'm done venting.

PS: I bought a feather duster today for a dollar...most likely the best dollar I ever spent.
